Has anyone here replaced a blown up V2 motor with a 959 motor? Or a 959 with a V2 motor? Did it start with no problems?
That's what I thought, but with different electronics. So I put V2 electronics on my 959 race bike, but it won't start. I think I know why now but I'm looking for a little more information.Don’t they both use the same motor?
I could but is it worth it, I don't think so.Ooof. Ducati done you dirty. That sucks. I wonder if you could clock the flywheel.
It would be a shot in the dark with no guarantee. This sucks.I could but is it worth it, I don't think so.
Readily doable with an end mill. Trick is to measure the offset difference between the cranks really accurately. If you have a drill press and a mill vice and are careful, doable. A good machinist with an indexing head less than an hour.I could but is it worth it, I don't think so.
