This has been plaguing me enough to be a pickle in my head for a while now. But could at least one of you guys confirm (by actually measuring your V4) the seat height?
Currently, I own a '17 (Yamaha) R6 and a '21 V4.
Although on paper they are both 33.5 inches (850mm), the V4 seat height feels slightly taller ... I'd say more like R1's (33.7 inches / 855mm).
I have owned a V2 (reported seat height 33.1 inches / 840 mm) in the past on top of the above two and remember feeling "Sure it is clearly a little lower than the other two" every time I swung a leg over it.
Is Ducati lying by stating that seat height is 33.5 inches (when it is perhaps 33.7 inches/855mm)? Or I am losing it at 37 years old and better off deleting this thread to clear some headspace for you?
Thanks in advance.
EDIT: Of course I have tried measuring myself. Multiple times. And I swear (and this is why I need another opinion) they both measured the same ... 33.5 inches.( I even asked my wife to do it and she said the V4's seat measured closer to 34 inches !)
