Has anyone installed the Ohlins FKR 124 cartridges in the V4R NPX forks or know if it offers anything over the stock cartridges?

Just did also chanced the rear to DU468.

Did ride (track only) with the new rear shock "out of the box", its noticeable better also I increased the ride hight a bit.

Front, I didn't try yet but just pushing the bike into the trailer feels better.

My kits on the way, will prob send the forks off next week. I already did the rear shock soon as I got it.

Well, no exhaust is placed on through regulations, suspension is not.
Fine tuning is one thing but ripping what it has out to put in other components doest make much sense.
I am onboard with putting race rear sets on. OEM stuff is horrid for track riding and racing.
The R suspension in my bikes work fine, may be a little soft for my weight, but its pretty darn good.
I am also only an Amateur racer, not top expert.

Exactly, for you, stock is fine for your pace. Honestly, only doing what your bank account or pace allows makes no sense for me. Your mods aren't the only ones ordained as useful. I'd be willing to bet there are R3 guys that think your pace doesn't warrant a liter bike much less a ducati.

Well i am certain there are plenty of guys faster than me, last time i checked nobody in here is a national track record holder. I am sure the OEM R suspension is just fine for anyone in this forum including and not excluding yourself. The suspension on those bikes are head and shoulders above anything offered 15 years ago, i can assure you nobody in here can outpace the World Superbike racers from less than 2 decades past.

You make a fools argument. Bottom line is you have no idea about the cartridges so why respond with conjecture? Ignorance. Of course there is no need to be a track record holder to experience better, just like all your add-ons. I think anyone upgrading anything on there bike is good for them. Why do you need a Ducati???

Yes keith you show your intelligence through insulting, awesome bro. I have no idea about cartridges, interesting you gathered this conclusion through my reciprocation. By the way, ignorance is not a sentence. I never said upgrading is a waste, but to be realistic, not many will see faster lap times with better suspension than the bike already has, no need to be that guy. It on their bike, not there unless its a specific place. Why do you need to place 3 exclamation marks?

"I have no idea about cartridges" So why even respond to this thread if you are clueless, maybe in the future just read and try to learn, don't be that guy. No need for trolling the forums.
Not many will see faster lap times with better suspension? That is one hell of a claim but lets run with it. You need a R model yourself over your 959, why? Since your here judging the need for upgrades other than your own, please enlighten the masses, lol. "It on their bike, not there unless its a specific place." What does this even mean? I'm really trying to understand you to no avail.

Keith, do you just respond to everything in anger without reading? Did you even read my "I have no idea about cartridges", these are your words, I wrote more after using your terms. Trolling forms, I am a member and have been for a while. Not many will see faster lap times with suspension, yes true statement, most will not until they hit an initial barrier, you race, correct? If so, you should be familiar with most riders and the man that does 3-4 track days a year, stock equipment is just fine. From my 959 to my 15r I dropped almost 3 seconds a lap last season. Does this enlighten your masses? Their and there separate a person and a place, an object to a possession of a person.

I'm sorry if anyone was confused by "Has anyone installed the Ohlins FKR 124 cartridges in the V4R." I was directing that only at someone with actual knowledge or that had installed the FKR kit, which means if you have a 1199 with stock forks you would not:) Hope that clears it up for the trolls.

So, you still didn't answer the question I posed after you had your tantrum. You just continued to insult me in a way to defend your egotistical responses, tried putting me on a defense, all in a vein response, classy.

OMG dude, I'm trying to help you here, its ok, your in a safe place, no one is hurting you, no one else made you crash. Now, back to the FKR's.......

Dang.....

Since I put on my fgrt203 forks on my 1199 only for bling factor, I wonder what that makes me? My suspension knowledge is probably a 2 or 3 out of 10, for reference of course :)
