Installing Full Low Akra.

Using new gaskets and new OEM nuts. Nuts are 8MM hex. Seem to be magnetic Stainless and not copper coated.

Are any of the engine building Gurus using nickel anti-Size and a 25% reduced torque on nuts and studs?

Spec is 10 NM +-10%. Usually, spec is done with a little lube oil film but anti seize is a bit heavier. Looking to be preventative.

When searching I found one poster that said 8 NM but no mention of any lube rqmnts.

Manual does not spec any oil or anti seize, however folks in the operational field often have insight.

I've installed 3 full systems and never used anti-seize. New gaskets, no RTV on the gaskets like some YouTube videos show. No issues to report.

I also use the torque values in the manual for the exhaust, not the factory manual. The subframe bolts in the service manual says they 32 and 34 Nm IIRC and to be replaced each time, but the manual for the exhaust install says 25 Nm for all 4.

Just a note:
In respect to any usage of silicone sealer, you have to be careful of what grade you are using. Some are labeled as safe for O2 sensors, and some are not. The burning of silicone in the combustion chamber, with usage on the exhaust gaskets, immediately downstream and in the flame travel, or on an upstream intake gasket, can cause a silicone dioxide glaze to form on the downstream 02 sensor and creating a possible sluggish switching condition from rich to lean inputs to the ECM.
