I am doing two day COTA weekend next week and I did not want to run my stock Brembo pads, and on the short notice I was able to get Vesrah Special RJL SS pads. Did anyone had any experience with these? I just never heard of the brand before. They are out of Japan. Thanks

No idea personally, but these have a lot of positive feedback online reviews and other forums....

Had them on my cbr before i sold the bike and have a set waiting to install on my 1199. Great initial bite on the cbr but my purchase for both bikes were solely based on online feedback which are almost all positive.

Been using them for a long time. Excellent pads and different compounds available from Kurvey Girl. Very popular with CCS/WERA crowd.

Never used the SS variety but I have their XX pads on my R right now. Used them at a VIR track day weekend and thought they were excellent - I've heard similar things about the SS pads.

They are good! Progressive power, hard to over work. Ideal for Street/Track. XX are more ideal track only/ agressive users they are harder to overwork.

Vesrah makes top quality pads. However, it can be a nightmare navigating through their site or trying to understand the different compounds they offer and their corresponding usage. The RJL is a racing line of pads from Vesrah; the RJL line was worked on over time to produce the SRJL or "Super-RJL" or "Special-RJL" line of pads. Strong initial bite and linear feel are the basic characteristics of this pad. The SS pad belongs to this line and was initially developed in close collaboration with Ducati to fit Brembo monoblock calipers only. Vesrah has since expanded the SS pads to fit other race bikes.

I'd say the SS pad is ideal for the track as it has great stopping power and strong initial bite. The SS pad is at the pinnacle of Vesrah race pads.

Ive used Vesrah pads for the last two season and like them. Not too much bite, progressive feel, and they wear well. I tried Brembo Z04 this season and in comparison to the RJL-XX the Z04 has more initial bite, lots of brake dust and doesn’t wear as well.

Just did a whole day at COTA with these pads. Absolutely awesome pad and compound for my use, great pad material transfer to the rotors (bed in nice and even), progressive “easy” feel without strong initial bite and tons of stopping power with no fade. I am mid to upper Intermediate level and On the back straight I slow down from 190 and on the front straight from about 165 lifting rear wheel on a few ‘oh ....’ occasions. So far pretty happy with these. I have New Ferodo pads being shipped with the brand new T-drive Brembo rotors, that would be interesting comparison for me personally. But great to see reasonably priced product that performs well. I’ll be doing another day tomorrow, but wanted to share my initial observation.

Dust is minimal too, so that’s good as well

Vesrah is the ONLY pads I ever race with!!! 1 WORD!!!AWESOME

I have been extremely happy with them on the street as well. So much that I decided not to put Brembo pads back in as these leave pretty rich transfer layer. And that's what give them balls crashing brake torque.

I am still going to give my new Ferodo pads a try with the brand new Brembo rotors on my track wheels for the next track days at the end of this month. But base line is Vesrah and they have to be just as good or better. Will report.
