Total bollocks

Z04 provide much better bite and last longer, also don't fade when hot

SBS 841 DS-1 or DS-02 are great too, two versions differ in how they bite. They last much longer than Z04Sls

EBC is a street grade product, you can use them on track for sure, but with lots of compromises
Same reason why I run SBS. Same braking power but last longer. About the same price too.

I have no experience with EBC pads with M4 but with other caliper i didn't like there

Z04 pads are the best with SBS DS (same performance, same low consumption and same price): for track the best

for street for me the best are the brembo pads for M4 caliper ducati or aprilia

While you're on the topic, how can you differentiate the pad material properties on the normal street brembo pads from part numbers? For the stylema calipers the genuine ducati pads cost $400 AUD here (for both front calipers). Can be had for $300 AUD with discount. You can buy genuine Suzuki or Triumph part numbers of the same brembo pads for a total of $160. Massive difference in cost but there can be some differences in the number listings on the back. I was never able to find any info on how brembo lists compound differences on their pads.

Brembo Genuine Parts pads.

Chosen by motorcycle manufacturers, genuine pads are available in different compounds, each characterized by a different friction coefficient. The friction coefficient is expressed by a number with a value that varies from 1 to 99: the higher the value of this number, the higher the friction coefficient of that particular compound.

Compounds:

01-35 = Carbon Ceramic Compound, is the evolution of the organic compound, with the use of a greater quantity of carbon. High mileage, good performance both hot and cold, dry and wet, characterize this friction material.
> 50 = Sintered compound, designed to guarantee a high and constant friction coefficient at both high and low temperatures, all combined with very high durability and excellent friction even on wet surfaces.

Have you tried different pads?

Personally, I think the stock pads are terrible.

Why don’t you try a set of pads recommended in this post?

You should be able to get them for the same price or cheaper than the stock pads and they are much better.

I really like the Vesrah SRJL-XX and pay ~ $125 CAD per caliper.

Thanks. So we'd be looking at the 07 section on the Ducati part number then?

Only on my second set of pads art the moment and would definitely try something other than the stock Brembo pads. Do you use the Vesrah pads just for street riding?

you are talking nonsense, my friend, SBS 841 DS-1 and DS-02 are a set for 2 discs, not separate sets

DS-1 and DS-2 are different only for initial bit
DS-1 strong initial bite
DS-2 smooth initial bite

My bike is track only, but the Vesrah pads aren’t super aggressive. Give them a try, I think they are a major improvement.

yall are paying too much!

Double HH for street

EPFA for track,
until you notice fade i guess, I have not found the bottom yet though, and several dozen 180mph -> 40mph here at COTA with no issues...great pad

GPFAX - for dedicated track only, best pad they offer.
