The first ride on my new 2024 V4 was a bit....underwhelming. I had everything turned down to a 1 on DWC, DTC, EBC, ABS etc. but had somehow accidentally set Engine control to Medium. I decided to try either High or Full for a test run tomorrow and am curious what the differences between these three modes would be with regards to throttle response and power level, especially between High and Full? I ride a tuned RSV4, BMW S1000RR and a Ducati 1299, so I'm used to plenty of power on tap and prefer to let my throttle hand control things rather than an ECU.

Thanks!

John

If you want the throttles tracking your hand you have the wrong motorcycle. The full map allows full power in 2nd thru 6th. To my knowledge Ducati has never offered the bike with full power in 1st. But you'll feel the difference in a big way. Especially in the lower gears. But this isn't a cable throttle there's tons of electronic torque management going on to make it easier to ride. I suspect it will be adequately zippy as it is. Keep a firm grasp on your license.

LOL, thanks, heading out this morning in Full mode and will report my new impressions, should be interesting.
