I would suggest slowing down and tightening your lines.. immediately:eek:

How do I feel after watching that ... hmm..

The nicest way I can say it is as follows..

- Grow a pair of Balls and get on a race tracks if you THINK you are fast and want to experience speed. I was a control rider for MMARC for 3 years and saw a lot of SQUIDS like you who showed up (in the morning) feeling like Fogerty and left the track (in the evening) with their tails between their legs, bikes on crash trucks and a nice ride in the ambulance

YOU are exactly what is wrong with the community. Do us ALL a favor and sell your bike and return back to the SRAD GSXR or Yamaha R1 you used to own. PLEASE do not give us all a bad name.

EVERY one of the people who saw your juvenile act was NOT impressed.. They weren't staring at you because you had a cool bike , they wanted to see, first hand, a person with the smallest male member in the area

Sad that people like YOU are part of our community and people like you own the same bike the rest of us do.

Haha yea this early on a Saturday morning we're lucky to have vacant roads. I've done many many track days (as you can see in my avatar) and hope to go back next month. I think the new 60fps makes it seems more dangerous than it was haha. 2hrs later and this road is packed with cars and even more wreckless riders. Many friends have crashed on this route but I was only doing 80% so that's how I don't lose sleep at night. I promise on my daily commutes I do normal road speeds :D

LOL, ouch :(

It's a very popular high to very-high speed route here in San Diego. There are guys dragging elbows out here!!! No one saw me doing anything cuz it was 730am on a Saturday. I'm not trying to show off. I'm too humble for that. I don't think I'm fast at all actually. That's the point, it's a much safer time to go through this famous twisty run. Never put any person/rider/bistander besides myself in danger.Like I said, I think the 60fps shooting I did make it seem different than in real life. I was riding behind my buddy for a long while and it was pretty mild.

And I have balls and I do many track days (as you can see in my Avatar to the left <-------) and have been to many race schools and have learned from very smart professionals and like to think I'm above the general squiddy Gixxer/R1 crazies who do stand up wheelies on the freeway. Go on YouTube and research "Mulholland Dr" in LA or "Highway 94" here in San Diego and it's kinda the same thing. Way worse than my empty roads.

You must have famous routes in your area where superbike riders up their chances to wreck and/or die don't ya? If not, enjoy your Pani wherever you'd like at whatever speed you'd like :)

#wonteverpostavidhereagain :)

I'm 100% certain your 60fps has nothing to do with anything. Your lines are all over the place. That can be seen in a much lower fps. Doesn't matter if you THINK there's no cars cuz it's so early. Clearly there are other riders and cars on the road since it's a public road. If you're taking corners faster than you can handle, then the smart thing to do would be slow it down. You've got balls posting a video like this cuz I'd be too embarrassed to do so. I'm sure we have all taken corners a bit too fast for our capabilities for various reasons (unexpected thing on the road, unfamiliar with the road, etc) but you claim to be on this road quite often. Even if you don't feel as though you're jeopardizing your own well being, you're jeopardizing the well being of others. On any one of those corners you went wide on coulda been another biker or a car. Canyons are dangerous enough as is. Taking a step back and slowing down a bit won't take away from the amount of fun you can have but it can certainly save a life, be it yours or someone elses. The risk farrrrr outweighs the reward.

All I have to say is try to be safe, many will bash a vid like this, and to be honest they are mostly hypocrites. If any of you say that you have never twisted the throttle on a public road, you are a liar, I raced and was young too. The old fellas are just mad that youtube wasn't around when you were young. Sorry, I don't believe that rider makes a brand look bad, to say go back to an gsxr or yamaha is just plain ignorant!

be careful and i say this to all including myself. Even if you are doing everything "right," bike is dangerous.

If you ever come up to Angeles Crest, stay off that double yellow, i hate to be coming the other way 8am in the morning. Stay safe and enjoy.

Your riding way over your head. You would be dead here. Also learn to downshift to first in the tight stuff.

If we even get close to the yellow line you go to the back of the pack and reside there.

No one saw me doing anything

I did.

In the 30 seconds I watched, you almost went off the road on the outside of the corner, blew yellow lines and missed easy shifts.

Were going to be hard on you because your asking for it, and there are no second chances. If you were a real friend id be twice as hard on you.

You have to learn to keep your lines FKN tight if your going to play on the road. You need absolute control leaving room for knuckle heads kids in their cars blowing lines in corners. As it was, if you met a screw ball he would kill you FKN dead dude because you had no control in many places.

Go slower until you can hold lines, you were running your buddies speed, not your own. Biggest mistake a guy can make is riding someone else's ride.

I think it was more about screwing up corners than the speed that people don't like . If a rider was coming the other way there would be two families getting a phone call .
A more honest reply is needed in these sort of threads than the ones the OP might want to here . I'm glad that other members have replied the way they have . I ...... hate YouTube anyway I must be old .
The forum gave the right advise IMO .

I would also say you are far too close to your buddy at certain points from about 7 mins.....

Please ride safe and work on your lines and lane position as you can. This is a great tool for you to look at and possibly even use the PACE technique. Which is where you just use throttle braking and wind and unwind corners without touching the brakes.

I try and do this as much as possible and has made my rides much more enjoyable.

Good luck! and again be safe!

You know that almost all of us have ridden that way at one time or another in our lives..

Having reached the age of 53 years old, I can tell you that I have lost 4 close friends to riding too hard on the streets. It's DEVASTATING, truly it is.

What I would say to you, is have fun out there, but hold an awful lot back in reserve. On the streets, there are so many variables that you can't account for; other drivers/riders, gravel in the middle of the corner at the apex, some diesel/oil that you can't see until it's too late, damp/wet spots under trees that haven't dried out yet, etc., etc..

Please for your sake and for the sake of your friends and family, just dial it back a notch or three. From your video, I can see that you have some good skills, but you are pushing too hard and making mistakes. You are not leaving any real room for error and that WILL eventually come back and bite you.

Take your already decent set of skills and take it to the track, where you CAN push to the maximum and take your buddies with you; it's a TON of fun and you can truly find out who is really faster in a safer environment with far fewer chances of you killing yourself, or even worse, killing someone else.
