"I would post pics if I could of what I have, but I don't know how"

Seriously Brad?? Cmon, you are a Senior Member with 1250 posts here man!
Its the same as posting up pics of your bike dude. Or are you just embarrassed about showing off the Mickey Mouse watch? :)

Somebody please help Brad out on putting up photos? There has to be a sticky or instructions on here somewhere - unless you are just joking around buddy?

Nah, it's true:(
Sorry Gunny, but the Mickey Mouse watch is loong gone.
I do remember it was blue, and that it was more reliable than any of the Swatch watches.

I have been criticised on this forum by someone who shall remain nameless, for being technologically backward. Although I'm choosy about what modern day technology I embrace. Ducati 1199's are a good example of the type of exception I will happily make.
Anyway, that's ok because I'm happy to be like this.

It doesn't stop me from being functional in the way I choose to live my life:)
I don't have a mobile phone either and it's been long discarded as irrelevant:)
I think it's lying in the bottom of one of the toolboxes, but I haven't seen it for in excess of 4 years come to think of it:)
I think I'm becoming a bit of a luddite:eek:
There's no automatic washing machines, clothes dryers or dishwashers around here either.

I actually don't take pictures anymore since they stopped making real cameras and went digital;)

You will note that all the watches I currently have, and have had for nearly 14 years are all mechanical.
NO BATTERIES;)
The only exception was the BREITLING "B" Class, which was a gift for someone special who would never have appreciated/understood a mechanical watch.
I hated buying the watch due to it technology, but I loved the girl more.

My current better half will be taking pics of the watches that are gong up for sale.
Perhaps I should take advantage of her talents to help me share with you when they are all grouped together.

Last week I started an email chat session with the owner / President of the watch company Lum-Tech which has rave reviews on all the watch forums!
This guy, Chris Wiegand, actually answers all customer emails sent into them off the "Contact Us" website and THAT is a sure sign he is in touch with his clients and potential ones too! I was very impressed by this and also the deal he offered me on ANY choice I made. Though Im usually a guy that likes numerous features on a watch I also needed a snazzy dress type one with a leather band for my collection, and there were quite a few to choose from on their site. This is what I finally decided on and should be here by Wed.

Lum Tec, LLC

He also let me substitute the rubber band for the SS black one which I think dresses it up even more so if I wanted to alternate with the cool leather one. To me rubber gets a bit uncomfortable at times and never seems to fit just right ya know? Pics of it all here along with the link. They are a bit pricey but the reputation seems to carry a lot of weight and their highly effective Lume technology sure is sweet!

They do look very good:)

Or even better with this one, costs as much as a Tricolore! EDIT: 27K rupees, so closer to $400 - a steal!!

Haha, good call. I am not use to seeing rupees, even though I deal with off shore developers every day. :)

I have this and love it

Hey Gunny,
I definitely have a bit of a watch thing.

I am a bit of a collector of the Seiko H558 divers Watch. I bought my first one in 1985 at a "SPECWAREX" in 1985 in Hawaii working with my US military friends. It has been my good luck charm ever since.

Here is a pic of some more that I have collected.

Good to See !

Thanks for keeping thread alive!

Took this just now after opening site up and seeing the new posts.

Just got the bottom left Tissot Solar one which just isn't my type so sending back. These T-Touch Watches are SUPER technical and require a damn PhD to figure out I tell ya! :(

**The Carbon Fiber Reactor directly next to that is BNIB and for sale on a few Watch sites too. :)

I love watches! But all of my watches are cheap, but well-loved with obvious signs of use. One day I hope to get those grail pieces that I talk myself out of at least once a year. One day...

My dress watch is an automatic Seiko Sport 5.
Daily beater is a Casio Mudman which is the best "desert island" most practical watch I'll ever own.
Two Sunnto Cores which are overrated and the batteries go flat really quickly but I love them.
A Traser p6500 navigator with a Rhino strap (very bright at night)

One day I'll get a Submariner, a nice Sinn, and a IWC Portuguese dress watch.

12 watches you need help ha

I bought my lovely husband a Vivienne Westwood watch for Christmas now working overtime!!

Thats only the H558 Seikos. I have a NOS Ceramic 600m and 2 x 1000m Ceramic divers and another classic 600m diver. The one on the far right is a Seiko Stingray and very hard to find nowadays.

Watch collecting is my off season hobby. I've got hundreds. Vintage to modern, mainly high frequency (36000 bph), automatic chronographs, and dive watches.

The only crossover between motorcycling and watch collecting I have is these two:

I once had an opportunity to buy the Fortis Chronograph awarded to Hodgson in commemoration of his WSBK championship, but snoozed and missed it.

The Rossi version of this

was way too loud for my tastes.

I've got a bunch of Seikos.

Here's a couple which Brad might enjoy.

Seiko rarely gets the respect it is due as a watch company. Credor their top brand produces watches which top $400K. Unfortunately they are pretty much only sold in Japan.
