Water pump replacement

Damn you really went looking around didn't you! Thanks for the photo and effort, I've since installed a carbon front end so that's an old photo

Here's it stripped while I was finishing up the water pump, the dodge in the back is not mine of course

I bought some parts (shims, seals) from Italy and they took 5 weeks. They need to suck it up and fix the waterpump. Needs the shaft dia. to be bigger so then needs a different gear etc. I think they're resisting due to the change needing noise homologation? At least when they start leaking to the outside you can keep riding as long as it isn't dripping onto the rear. Which is why they added the plumbing and reservoir as revision 2.

Hey. Isnt on old pumps also weep holes? I dont see any difference from new/old pumps? I have 2018 version.

You can't see the changes unless you take the pump apart. The impeller seal (the one that leaks) is behind the impeller. I took one from the 19 motor I have apart and posted pictures on here. Search "waterpump exploded" on the forum.
