Ive had my V2 for a bout a week now and its my first bike. When im moving the bike when its off i hear a noise like the front brake is being engaged. Theres also a little resistance when moving it around while its off. When i fire the bike up it goes away. Any idea what that is? When i first got the bike and was pushing it up my driveway i didnt hear that noise and it was moving very freely no resistance. When im riding it everything is good.

thanks

Same thing happens to mine when I’m back from a ride and it’s hot. Once it cools, the noise goes away.

I imagine it’s a little brake drag from hot brakes.

ive waited until the next day as well and its still there and theres a small resistance and noise when pushing it around. this is with the bike off and in neutral kickstand down. I dont remember hearing it or feeling resistance when i got it delivered and pushing it up my driveway. When i turn it on and go ride though, the resistance is gone and the noise goes away although it would be hard to hear when the motors running but i can feel the resistance go away.

Brake pads don't have any way to retract, so there is minimal clearance between the pad and disc. That very light contact causes the rubbing sound.

And that's one reason why serious racers cough up multiple thousands for callipers
