Thanks! I was looking for user feedback.
As I get old, the thought of “keeping in touch” is more intriguing.
I was just wondering based on actual usage and not paid advertisement what seems to work and what doesn’t. And then maybe a step further to decide which is suitable for me and my expected use of it.

Got a sena 20, it has a novelty factor but only use it in a group that uses coms sparingly for road conditions etc, otherwise it devolves into distracting chatter you should be having at the next stop. I rarely use it, much prefer to focus on riding.
I agree. This is why I have never gotten into it. However music, or emergent phone calls seems like a good idea since I’m on call for work and of course family issues that may arise. I ride alone a lot anyway. But focus is key as you stated.
For several hundred bucks, I don’t want it to sit on a shelf collecting dust because it’s not providing usefulness. (Novelty factor)
video capability seems cool too..... have read mixed reviews on the sena 4k unit.
I have go pro, but again too many gadgets on the bike kind of turn me off while riding.

Music would be the absolute last thing I would use it for, especially on something with Akras. It might be ok on a cruiser but with earplugs, wind and engine noise when youre getting into it- your Credence isn't going to sound good

His is a topic I am passionate about. Cardo and Sena mesh don’t speak to each other and as with most groups there is a split of who uses what. Solution... download helmchat. It’s great and just uses data. I have thank LinkedIn to a Sena 3s (yes that old) and it’s the sleekest unit and set up I have ever had. Hope this helps someone out there.
