Pretty pumped on how this turned out. Stripped all the coating off the cans, and blued the welds.

Mick1976 here on the forum makes and sells these. Nicest tail tidy I've seen!!!!! And yes everything in the tail section has need swapped out with CF

Finally finished up the MCV2R custom build less paint. Start prepping for color so it will be a mixture of gloss pearl white, gloss carbon and some matte carbon.
Are you going to leave some carbon exposed on the edges of the fairings? Like the 749R, I had those on my 749s and still think about how cool it was now.
Yes there will be some carbon exposed on every fairing part side panels, belly pieces and tail section.
Yeah it's too bad Akro only offers gloss. Few people have sent me there Akro shields for me to do in matte.
I really like the gloss and I find the full six parts are lighter than OEM CF. I am still waiting on fairings. I have the fuel tank and that is off to painter. Next I am gong to use the R design on top but in exposed gloss carbon if you know what I mean. I am hoping the gloss goes well with my shiny gold magnesium wheels.
