How did you do that ??? LOVE IT !

Hours upon hours of sanding off the coating and etched on Akra logo's. Then took a Map gas torch, heated the welds to the desired bluing.
If I knew what a task it was going to be, would have taken them to a metal polishing biz, and paid them to do it.

But it looks cool now. [emoji41]

Finally finished up the MCV2R custom build less paint. Start prepping for color so it will be a mixture of gloss pearl white, gloss carbon and some matte carbon. Post up pics once I finish up the paint.

Are you going to leave some carbon exposed on the edges of the fairings? Like the 749R, I had those on my 749s and still think about how cool it was now.

Yes there will be some carbon exposed on every fairing part side panels, belly pieces and tail section.

Because it should be a Crime to paint over Carbon and not leave some exposed!

Yeah it's too bad Akro only offers gloss. Few people have sent me there Akro shields for me to do in matte.

I really like the gloss and I find the full six parts are lighter than OEM CF. I am still waiting on fairings. I have the fuel tank and that is off to painter. Next I am gong to use the R design on top but in exposed gloss carbon if you know what I mean. I am hoping the gloss goes well with my shiny gold magnesium wheels. :)

Yeah should be killer.

So a big box finally showed up...the fun begins. Sorry if the images are ginormous... Tapatalk doesn't resize them. They look normal on my phone.
