I added an Öhlins damper to the 1299 after issues with the OEM, fit was quite standard just had to machine up some bushes for the rod ends to take the 8mm to 6mm have to still ride it to see if it’s an improvement

Thanks for the words of encouragement, it was a big expence considering the bikes age and value but the old unit (sachs) was leaking and had no life even after refilling it . It’s funny I have owned this thing since new and am only now after 6 years enjoying it being home now full time 🤜

So today we put the Pani on the dyno…had to get fearing off to get to the coil wire, the tech said the speedo pic up is not accurate enough for real numbers, the rear axle was centred above the drum and the fun started.
The old girl now with 12800 Km stock pulled 184,5 RWHp …and 130 Nm of torque
Apparantly this is respectable for a stock bike ? After removing it from the dyno the tech had to reset fault codes associated with the non running front wheel
It was said said the bike is strong for stock

Stock filter stock exhaust you got those numbers? Nice. Bike looks sweet. i have a spare kidney if someone can convince Termi that 3 months is long enough to wait for an exhaust. I can’t compete with you V4 guys but the V2 955 gonna have a lil extra somethin’

No I have removed the servo valve and motor and welded in the open position I have replaced the airfilter at the 12000km with a BMC airfilter other than that its stock

Last evolution of my livery for the '15 R, very happy how it turned out. Will be getting a tune from my dealer, a few vanity pics at some track events, then only out for special occasions and eventually let my kid swing a leg over her in the not too distant future.

Kind of interested to do some laps after a winter with a V4.
