Hey! How did you install these blinkers? I have the same setup that I am trying to install. I see they are glued but is that about it? You just glue them? It came with a bolt too not too sure what to do with that.

I removed the NRC turn signal unit and replaced it with a competition werks integrated taillight. What are people doing to cover the area where the plate used to attach?

How are you liking that tail light conversion? That’s next on my list to do. I hate that big fender sticking out the back.

Oil change! Not anything big deal- but nice to have the first one done as the new owner- next up will be coolant change before winter- where it used to live, there was no winter. Also ordered a black titanium oil filler cap- the stock one is fine- but a little spice up!

Installed a DP tail bag and mounted a Garmin gps. Trying to make the bike a little more practical for longer rides, turned out pretty good.

I did 800miles on my 1299 this past SAT going to the Twisted Sister in WEST Texas! had a freaking blast...

Got three large holes in my windscreen chasing a V4 at 150+...Dammit...replacement arrives today so fixing that, good news is no other rock hits on front end or side farings! gotta remember to swing wide when we pass cars to avoid the rocks!

Cleaned out about 5000+++ butterfly bodies out of airfilter and front end...took me about 3hrs to clean the damn bike up!

Understand your pain, tons of bugs on the track yesterday. Bike is covered. Good news is my typical valve cover leak has stopped. It had to be the 108f day that caused so much havoc last month.

Cases are still clean.

This weekend was productive- got my brentune file back-super quick turn around- so got that installed- got my oil cap replaced(still a little on the fence on how I feel about it) and got an amazing pic of the 1299 and 748 together before hibernation!

new tires front and back, new brake pads, clutch/brake fluid flush, air filter cleaned, chain lubed and adjusted....lights taped....ready for COTA hell yes!

Got my radiator guard on- it was a nice day today in Western NY- if you are going to do it- just get the dremel out now- so simple once you strip the 2.5mm head to put in a screwdriver slot.
