What did you do to your V2 Panigale today?

Nothing for the bike, but something enjoyable for me. I spent 45 minutes on a Whatsapp call with David Moss. We tweaked my suspension a we bit, looked at how my dampers are affecting my tires and I fired lots of other questions at him.

His knowledge of sport riding is immense, I’m super happy to have him as a consultant.

rode over to the calderwood overlook at the dragon.

too much traffic. it sucked. wasting the tires going so slow.

time to fix the lighting so i can go back to night riding.

Question for anyone that knows. The shop recommended a dyno tune after the commander 5 install for upgraded slip on/air filter.

I figure it doesn’t hurt to properly dial it in.

Did you guys dyno tune after the ECU flash?

i hit a pull off to turn on my phone and a ktm guy, that i had passed earlier, pulled in to check out the v2. as he was looking to buy a white one, i told him he could sit on it to compare it to the egronomics of his 848. then he asked me to take pictures of him on it and asked if my brake lights worked. lol.

a few million dollars of bologna super cars rolled by during the interaction. looked like a vinwiki posse.

I spent 40 Bucks USD today and had Dave Moss send me damping and spring preload settings. Made a huge difference.

My V2 was awesome before now it is amazing!

Were you able to do this through his website? Id like to give him my info and get his recommended settings for me as well.

Been waiting 5 months for the “shorty” carbon fiber CRG clutch and brake levers. Couldn’t wait anymore now that my V2 has more power and wants to jump out from underneath me taking off from a stop. I can’t stand the overly long stock levers so now I at least can hang onto the clip on on the clutch side with the 2 finger shorty carbon clutch lever. Hoping CRG releases the matching shorty carbon front brake lever soon.

bled the rear caliper and clutch. the rear pedal was mooshy and you could feel the drag cold starting in gear with the clutch pulled in.

rear caliper got the q-tip treatment.

Got her back from a Dyno run.

New exhaust screams and there is some crackle and pop action going on at downshifts, sounds insane.

Need some more open road time to get a better post dyno feel.

rode it home before it rained, and at 43 rain is really cold.
loved my 899 but this bike is amazing

Rode about over 150 miles yesterday 405 to the 1 - Malibu, Ventura, Oxnard to 101, 405, 105, broke 3k total on the bike.

Def need the comfort that seat and a better pair of grips my ..., inner thighs, and right hand was toast!!

Currently have pro grips- Anyone use Rizoma or Droven grips?

Is this the only comfort seat available? Comfort seat

the kaoko throttle thing gives your right hand a break. definitely makes the tank long runs more enjoyable.

i'm just shy of 4k but no riding today as the wind seems to want to blow the wheels out from under you. plus there will be junk all over the road. cager day.
