Brembo has gone the way of SnapOn. Top shelf stuff at top shelf prices to top shelf stuff at WTF prices. I think my calipers for this build were like 6k which is ridiculous considering the material for these things is about 150 bucks for the billet blocks.
The machine paths are already programmed, machines were paid for long ago so you have fixed costs in Mfg and tooling. The GP radiator calipers are about 12k. That’s a stretch for two machined blocks of aluminum, 4 pistons, 4 seals and some red paint. It’s nice to be a monopoly.
