Broke a right front lever; don't ask...

Ordered DP folding levers and 3 weeks later they are stuck in no mans land. This let to alternative which led to $$$.

I am having a set of RCS 19s installed on break and clutch.

Any Idea on what I might expect?

Will it be $s well spent?

This has been written up a few times on here, too lazy to look it up at the moment. The Brembo M50 brake calipers have some internal specifications (piston sizes and other details) that make them not-so-compatible with the commonly available Brembo master cylinder upgrades. Ducati Omaha General Manager Jarel has confirmed that the RCS 19 brake master cylinder mounted to an 1199 are actually a step backwards in performance because of these differences. Supposedly there will be some new Brembo aftermarket options now that the M50 calipers are seeing more use on OEM models, but I haven't seen any yet.

It probably would have been better money spent on just getting new pads (EBC HH), folding levers and a clutch slave cylinder. Although you should not have any problems with your clutch side RCS upgrade. At least you have very nice bling now.

I've had good luck with folding levers allowing me to get home and keep riding on a track day, so I went with Motowheels folding lever set with remote adjuster for $250 delivered:

I installed them on my bike but removed them due to the mismatch of piston size of the caliper. Expect harsh feeling on the brakes. It pumps too much fluid to the smaller M50 calipers pistons. Brembo told me that it could ruin the seals in the m50. Thumbs up to Pro Italia who was nice enough to take them back after I installed them. The clutch side was never installed.
