I recently bought my first Arai, a Corsair V, after riding with a Suomy Vandal. The Arai is much more stable at high speed which is what I was chasing - wasn't an issue until I bought this red rocket! Ventilation and visibility is also great with clear vision (no vibration).

The best helmet in terms of comfort, ventilation and visibility for my was an AGV GP Tech. Sadly the built quality was poor and the pads and linings fell apart fairly quickly. Now on my second Shoei x-spirit (II now)

Picking a helmet harder than choosing the bike! I used to ride with Shoei and they've saved my noggin in twice. Arai the only other helmet to equal the quality but in the past the head shape was an issue but the Corsair fits great so they must have changed with this model. I really like the TT graphics on this limited edition, feel like I'm in the TT riding the 1199 in the country!

I hope I have better luck with the AGV. I just bought one on sale!

I've been fond of sharks rsr2. Had two, in the US I finally gave up on waiting for the race pro to get here so bought a Nexx carbon fibre helmet, it's ok, but I'd rather have a shark

Ive been racing and street with Arai for years but the pass few years i been using Bell star and i love them,Also have AGV which i find run small .

I got the Arai FX GP. It is comfortable, quiet with lots of vents. I installed the Sena Bluetooth headset which interfaces nicely with my iPhone.

Shoei x-12, AGV GP-Tech, Aria RX-Q

Shoei fits the best but had to get larger cheek pads to make that happen. It also fogs more than the others.

Aria has the most comfortable lining but swims a bit on my head. Larger cheek pads may help.

AGV was tight at first but really loosened up after a couple long rides and is borderline loose now. It is also the loudest of the group.

Shoei X-Spirit for me.

Need to get a new one next year but will most likely stick with Shoei.

I've always been an Arai guy.

Currently on my 4th - an RX7 Corsair Pedrosa replica.....

Gonna change it in the next few months, as it's getting on a bit, probably an RX7 GP :)

I'm a big fan of the Arai Corsair V. However, I just ordered a AGV GP Tech Simoncelli replica. Can't wait to compare the two side by side.

How does that go at speed? Do you have modified earplugs or do you just use the speakers in the ear space? Have been thinking about this for a while.
