Arai -see the way I sneaked in a photo of me showing off. Was that subtle? :D

This is the helmet I'm rocking at the moment...before was just a low end Scorpion...

I still stick to my Arai RX7-RC – best helmet so far – but I also still look forward for the AGV PistaGP.

The latest news about this one is that the helmet is now into the ordering system, but it is not expected in European shops before early 2013, which would indicate easily a summer 2013 for the USA.

Nothing official, just an insider tip, so take it with a grain of salt.

Shoei X12, Shoei RF1100 and AGV K4 for the street. (Also have a Scorpion EXO 700 that gets almost no use.)

Suomy Spec 1R Extreme for the track, but it's on its last legs. I'll replace it with the Suomy Excel or possibly the PistaGP within the next year.

I have a Arai Corsair V and it fits for me even though I wear my eyeglasses.

I spoke with the GM of the D store in Orange County. He said its not likely the US will get the AGV Pista helmets. In order to meet the US helmet requirements they would destroy more helmets in the certification process than they could justify based on what they project as limited sales to the US market. Was just his opinion but seems to be in the know. Bummer.

I recently bought my first Arai, a Corsair V, after riding with a Suomy Vandal. The Arai is much more stable at high speed which is what I was chasing - wasn't an issue until I bought this red rocket! Ventilation and visibility is also great with clear vision (no vibration).

Nearly bought one myself, great looking helmet. I used to wear a bell tour star 11 back in 1981. Bell was the most popular helmet back then in Australia. Now we cannot even buy a bell helmet here unless its for car racing.

I love the look of the new Arai Corsair V Ducati Carbon special edition. Too bad that $3999 USD is out of my price range.

If that's the case, I'll just get one from the UK. BSI standards are an acceptable alternative to DOT where I'm from - none of that "must be DOT approved" BS. :)

Arai here all the way! I highsided at nearly 100mph a couple years ago, my head hit the ground hard twice, and I distinctly remember both times it hit the ground. If that's not a worthy testament to the quality of a helmet, I don't know what is! Right now I have a Ducati Corse Corsair V for the track, and an RX-Q Flag Italy for the street.
