And he wants to stay on this forum? Maybe these are the ONLY 5 :D

I thought 'iamlance' had one as well?

My local shop knocked up a perfectly functional half system that produced more power than anything else tested in a couple days. Now admittedly it needed better finishing but it just demonstrated what a rip-off this exhaust business is.

Lance does have one...On his Aprilia :D

I can't imagine how hot this thing gets without the fan. Do you do any street riding? That fan is ridiculously powerful. I like how it keeps running if the bike is hot even after you stop the engine. I actually had to clean out my garage because the fan is so powerful when pushing the bike backwards into the garage it blew leaves, grass clippings and all sorts of crap into the garage as I was pushing it back. Too bad it wasn't the other direction or I could use it as a leaf blower.

I'm debating making mine a track only bike if I do ill get the header since without that fan on the street the motor would burn, who knows

Is it necessary to turn this thread into yet another AR related one?

For the greater good folks, please....

That would be me. Ordered and awaiting delivery. I'll be getting it tuned at SPG in Seattle once it's installed. And I refuse to have a bad experience with this exhaust.

I'm sure it'll be fine as you have a reputable tuning shop working with you. Ultimately its a bit of metal pipe, the tuners will make the difference between a good and a great result.

Agreed. I'm pretty stoked. I plan on wrapping it if there's clearance. I decided on AR some time ago based on looks and sound. If there's extra performance that's a bonus because, after owning a dozen sportbikes since I bought an interceptor in '84, I finally own one that I'm satisfied with it's stock performance. Maybe I'm getting old (ok, no maybe about it lol) but this 1199 I find to be insanely fast! (As a point of reference my last bike was 06 ZX10.) That said, I sure wont turn down a little extra muscle, especially midrange. I'll keep you posted on my experience by PM if you're interested. I don't want to start, or be involved in, any further forum nonsense over this product.

Just voted, I have the AR system.
Sounds freakin awesome but does need the tuneboy tune.

I'm Thinking about selling it and going back to stock.

Any takers?

The pipe is polished and has only done around 100 km

PM if interested and save a bundle off the new price.

Also includes the CF covers.

Makes sense. That was my only fear with removing the fan. I know how burly that fan is and the bike is already a bit on the warm side so I can't imagine what the temps would get up to without the fan. I'm sure it would be fine on the track though or maybe you live somewhere where you can fly around at track speeds all the time. :)

I think the resale value just .... the bed.
