If more people asked, maybe less people would look like idiots. Seems fair enough to be concerned with looking good, whether working, riding, or perusing Jermyn Street. ;)
 
Somebody actually said the other day that my Twin jacket looks like a garbage bag. I guess I picked the wrong one. :rolleyes:

People only look like idiots because someone else decided so. I am not sure that I can accept that, it is after all somewhat judgemental. I look like me, I weigh one me, I am who I am; deal with it. :)

I've been looking for a new riding jacket for about five months now. I gave my Alpinestar TZ-1 (2006) away when I sold my last bike... Regrets ever since. So, since I tend to keep jackets for so long, its hard for me to select one. Ducati jackets are nice, but riding my Ducati say's all the Ducati I need (no offense to others, just personal opinion).

Instead, lately I've been looking at the Jackets by Roland Sands Design. Appears high quality and something that looks great off the bike. Have you considered?

Black/White...not a fan of the gills.

I like them both. Have always been black leather guy but now have crossed over to brighter and visible is better; thus I picked up the new black white and red Corse jacket. Is it bling? Yup...do I care what others think?..:nope. I'm a rolling billboard for Ducati now!
At least I can say that neither my bike or jacket has ever been to a Starbucks ; but I just can't seem to find the right crew to hang with!

If you had asked on the forum which jacket to get then maybe you could have made that person that said it looks like a garbage bag a happy person and then world would be a better place and maybe N. Korea would sing cumba ya...:D

I am a bit like RSR (except not 240lbs) as far as being a rolling billboard. ducati Jacket Meccanica, Ducati Corsair 5 Arai helmet. Ducati dainese speed leather pants.

Did I ask anyone one here what they thought, not in a heartbeat. My next gear purchase may be a red and white Alpinestars suit. Still saving.

And weather is looking good for a ride tomorrow
