I agree. I steer towards brighter colors for visibility. I ride with some people who have black bikes and wear all black colors, they blend into the shadows and disappear. Motorcycles are already dangerous, why not improve your chances of not getting creamed by a car.

+1 on the corse jacket love it. 3D bubble mesh liner is the bomb! I thought it was a marketing gimmick but it works great. Rode last summer with it and no sweat on the shirt kept me cool and now I won't buy another leather jacket without it now.

That is really interesting. Does it mean black and white is not good? In that video, people are moving constantly, however, in case of a black and white jacket the colours stay close to each other and do not cross hence making it more visible dont you think?
The reason this raises a concern is that I have also been looking into getting a leather jacket and was at a cross road trying to decide what colour to pick and I am also confused now!
Just in case any one wants to help, here are the two jackets I have been looking at. Its the Dainese Super Speed Jacket.

Clearly not if you think asking about colour choice is gay.
The way I look at it, it is a safety thing and I prefer to be safe on the road and be seen by motorists.
Every year we get many dead bikers on UK roads and most of the time they get hit by a car because the driver did not see them. Generally they are dressed in all black and riding a black bike.
Do you still think its gay to ask about what colour to pick?
I am guessing you ride wearing T-Shirts and Jeans and think you are the most invinicible thing on the road, No?

The main issue is that you see what you expect to see, if the driver does not expect to see a motorcycle he is less likely to register what he sees and the rest is......
