Why are there non-led (old style) signals in the 2022 Panigale?

As a big v4 fan, I wonder why a technology pioneer brand uses such signals, when I look at the previous models, almost all have led signals, while 2022 models have old-style signals. What is the reason for the firm to use this kind of signal? Thanks to everyone who replied :).

Cost should not be avoided in the motorcycle, which is the flagship of such a big brand. It is unpleasant for such a model to look cheap.

I doubt cost has anything to do with it. With the US bikes its likely a regulation thing about size, illumination, spacing etc. The EU bikes get smaller LED ones and the Ducati Performance ones are the really small branded version of something you can buy without the logo for half the price.

No one really keep the OEM tail on the bike anyway and the front turn signals are built into the mirror.

So why is this not the case with other brands? When I look at other brands (2022 model), most of them have LED signals.

My 2022 Husqvarna 901 Norden came with old school bulbs. Press reviews of the bike said the Euro models get LED's while NHTSA or DOT mandates filament bulbs. And they look like .... too.

I was wrong, the brand did not put the led signal because of the responsibility, not the cost. Well, isn't the excitation power of LED signals better?

US bike 2021 V4SP = The front signals are LED and the rear are incandescent. Same way on my 2021 Aprilia RS660.
