OK, sorry if this has been brought up before but does anyone make aftermarket bolts for the windscreen on the 1299? I want to get black bolts to match the fairing bolts.

Ya I've seen the prices of going titanium...... [emoji33]Proti makes some but not black. May as well start replacing every fairing bolt while you're at it and change the color. If you do, be prepared to go broke in the process.
Either my phone sucks trying to translate that site or I just don't see the 1299 listed on there. Thanks to Gecko, I'm now aware of this brand, MVS Performance, and they seem to make a mutiuse small thread bolt that can be used for windscreens: https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=1877956575755757&id=1616963348521749
Thanks, I'll check them out!podium makes some nice titanium ones, in their dimpled line up... very sharp addition.
Have had the black ti on my bike since i bought it and no fading.
I don't see the windscreen bolts on their website but I have sent them an email to inquire on them. I have bought a few things from bellissimoto before Gunny. Great guys but their website needs a lot of help. I just end up calling them most of the time when I need something from there. I don't mind paying a little more for quality but it still has to be what I want. (color/look/style)They are nice, no doubt. I have Proti where I felt I needed forged, but other than that black was my priority. Since Proti doesn't do black, Podium was the ticket. Black ti requires specialized equipment, unlike anodized ti. Probably why they don't do it and are limited on colors in the electro range. Even that they don't cover completely. Not a fan of the Christmas tree look. I like understated.

Yeah, there are NOT any "Dedicated" Windscreen bolts from Proti. I just happened to find out that the smallest ones I had fit in there and I then used all of those for the Windscreen.
Best tip for doing ANY windscreen (As I have shown several friends of mine) is to use a set of those "Surgical Type" little forceps which have that ratchety type locking thing on the back near the thumb handles. I used those to hold the tiny little well nuts in place as I screw the bolts thru and catch a thread of two. Also - they are invaluable for helping retrieve them if fallen down front near or behind the Speedo Gauges / DDA area too!
You guys know what I mean right - or should I post pics of this handy tool?
Oh, and I agree with the website vs calling them directly, especially if any discount codes apply too!
I found their windscreen bolts they just don't have black. That's the only reason I have not went with them.Hello Gunny,
I know you are the proti expert but Sherwood does actually sell a windscreen kit for the Panigale. It is $18.80 USD and is on his website. I bought that kit about 18 months ago.
here is the link for anyone interested.

I bought the Natural Ti finish as it fits in best with OEM. I have replaced so many bolts on my bike with Proti. Brakes, callipers, discs, foot pegs, switch blocks etc etc. The only ones I have not done are the fairings Sometimes it takes quite a while to do but for me its a form of relaxation.
BTW Gunny have sent you a couple of personal emails. Do you still have the same email address ? PM me your latest one if you want to chat.
Gunny you are still the Proti/Ti man. Your Tri is a work of art.
