Hello 2wheeler friends,
I hope all is well.
I made a huge jump and am quite happy with the recent purchase. Turned my 2018 Scrambler Icon for a 2023 Streetfighter V2 and I Love it.
Ok, enough about my excitement.
I'm in the market for some windscreens and Found Puig screens for 2022. Cant' figure out if it would fit the 2023 model too or not. The dealer doesn't have one in stock and I figured i get one on my own and install it as i did for the Scrambler which was super easy.
2. License plate bracket delete to make that piece ALOT Smaller. OMG That thing can kill someone, it sticks out a mile.

Thanks guys.

I opted for a cheap AU$89 SFV4 screen and drilled holes in the correct places to mount (that's the only dumb bit, that metal was hard!!) and then I hacked the plastic instrument protector to fit. Slightly dodge but I am actually very happy with the results myself, but might go buy some black replacement boltsIMG_5188.jpegIMG_5191.jpeg

Niiiice. I found the one with RedBolts and it was easy to install on V2 and didn't have to drill any holes.
The plastic piece behind the cluster came off with a gentle yank on it and install was proper.
I appreciate the reply.

You're welcome. Nice ! FYI I didn't like how the instruments and wiring is unprotected from water so that's why I cut into the plastic instrument cover and fit it in. n.b. install process of the instrument cover made it a little fiddly so I can give you hints on how I did it if you want to try yourself. Basically I loosely put in the top 2 bolts on the screen, then fit the hacked up instrument cover under the front of the screen and DIDN'T plug in, then tightened the top screen bolts, then plugged in the instrument cover, then put the screen front bolt on.

That is much appreciated. Doesn't hurt to try. I do agree, the wiring is not protected, and every time i go for a ride, i feel i need to do something about it.
Thanks again i will def give it a try.

Looking closely at your side picture where the mount attaches to the back of the instruments the mount drops down quite far, this could make it hard or impossible to push the instrument cover into the slots that are just below it. I don't think my mount dropped so low, however I did drill one of the holes too high (really needed to be done on a commercial drill platform) and had to expend the hole down and inwards to line up properly. But I still had to hack the top of the mount sections of the plastic a little (easy) to fit on that side.

I agree dude, its def a narrow gap.
I'll def try the idea you gave and see if i can rig it. Doesn't hurt to try as its a win win situation if it works out.
what about the exhaust ? have you installed a slip-on or a full exhaust system?
Any thoughts around that would be much appreciated.
Duc Dealer wants me to do a full akro system, and its a lot to be honest. I'm thinking of doing an akro or termi slip-on.
What do you think?

I scored an Arrow plus UpMap for a great price from a Panigale V2 owner that changed his mind and decided to go to the Akra, so my path is set. His primary reasoning was warranty.

To be honest I am in no rush to install and may even wait until my warranty completes ... if I can resist that long 🤣. With the pipe all I care about really is un-choking the Euro5 on the engine and releasing a few DB's as well, plus the standard pipe is a tad ugly. A car friend of my mentioned they take a screwdriver to the cat 😱.

Then there is the whole tuning problem if you don't go with the Akra (as I think it comes with a map), which involves spending even more money, and time, and potential disaster ... as a wise man once said "throw money at the problem" so the Akra seems a financially painful but good solution to the problem. Another bloke also said to me wait until you see it go on sale then buy.
