Upgrade to a Japanese bike. Hell, even a Harley would be an upgrade for you. This forum will be much happier than you could ever be. While you're at it, do the same with your wife's bike. 2 more bikes to help drop the value of these exotics on the market.

That is false depending on what you constitute as "real-world". The "real-world" difference for me is noticeably better headlights, and better looking bits such as the wheels, Ohlins suspension and carbon guard. If by "real-world" you mean performance, that is true but many of us are not racing for a pay check and just like to have a few extra features.
