Ducati DID win the constructor‘s championship w 5 rounds to go so it’s not that bad of a bike. The problem is that they have 5 competitive riders all vying for points. For example, Bastianni “stole” 5 points from Pecco in Aragon. You don’t see Morbidelli taking points off Fabio on the Yamaha side. The problems lies in the fact that the Factory slots aren’t there for cultivating riders. Upper management demands the best of the best all the time. Casey is a bit weak kneed so I’m not surprised he couldn’t cope with the pressure. Once Ducati realized they had a championship winning bike, they hammered Casey to win. But at least it’s not KTM. They seem to chew riders up and spit them out.
