I guess I'll be the first selfish guy to say this sucks. Will you be able to tell us which manufacturer you have gone to after you're settled in?

Hope you're making a lot more money.

Thank you Shaka. I should be clear and say that as far as the interaction, I've always been here on my own accord, i.e. not in an official capacity.

Reason being that I personally believe it is vital for anyone involved in product development to be as closely connected as possible to customers. And I don't get out of the office to speak with people, nearly as much as I'd like. So I view forums as a great source of information from a group of, generally, very informed, intelligent, and influential customers (you guys). Not everyone shares my opinion, but hey, they're entitled to be wrong :D

Anyway with that said, I have something to share with you all. This is my last week with Ducati. I'll be moving shortly to do product development at another motorcycle OEM. I thank you all for what you've shared with me here, and I hope you've found our interaction valuable as well. I haven't been able to spend a ton of time here of course but I've tried to contribute useful information especially where I saw there was a big need.

I'll still come around here from time to time, as having been at one time or another the PM for the SL, Pani, Hyper, Diavel, and Streetfighter lines I will always feel a connection to those bikes. Plus I'll want to see everyone's reactions to the cool stuff that I know is in Ducati's future plans.

To save everyone the trouble of asking, NO I absolutely will not reveal anything about what those plans are, even after I've left - I have too much respect for my colleagues and friends who are working very hard on those projects to make them come to life. But I will tell you all that you have a lot to look forward to, it's a great time to be a motorcyclist and a Ducatista.

So, yeah. Back to work now for me, trying to close out everything before I leave my desk for good on friday. It's been a wild ride to say the least but one I'll never forget (kind of like the Panigale, then).

Cheers guys!!

You are the first and only person I have ever seen from an OEM actually interact with any of it's customers on a forum like this. Thanks for your presence here in the past, and future. And best of luck on your new endeavor!

TJ, all the best for your new job! It was great to have you on this forum!!!
:(:(:(

I should slap and kiss you for that lol. I'd def be broke for forever if they did those 2. I'd trade my 1199 for any Davies model Pani and WSBK Manifolds for it omg.

Here's one! (not really...just a 1299S made to look like Chaz's R)

Please build a street Supermono Ducati

I want a Supermono for the street than is priced for mortals :)

From time to time I've seen various threads speculating on what's in the pipeline for Ducati. Thought it would be interesting to get everyone's opinions in one place. So, let's have it!

What would you like in the future? Whether it's a particular type of technology, an engine layout, improvements to an existing model, or an entire bike concept - describe what you want, keeping feasibility in mind as much as possible.

I'll start. I'd like "Supermono 2.0" - a super-premium ultra lightweight single, fully faired as a superbike and built like a jewel. Dripping in carbon, mag, and ti. 650cc, 140 kg, supercharged for 110 hp. $65k msrp.

Who's next? :D

I somehow missed that suggestion. I'd love a Supermono 2 as well, it would be epic.

Fuel use indicated in instrument panel

My Kawasaki ZX10R and Yamaha R1 indicate the amount of fuel used. Basically, you zero the fuel used when you fill up. Then, knowing you have a 4.5 gallon tank capacity, you read the amount of fuel used and you know how much fuel you have left. It's really useful. I was surprised to find out that my 2016 Ducati Panigale doesn't have that function. I would like Ducati to indicate fuel used, in future motorcycles, rather than just a reserve warning light.
