Your Hydraulic Systems WTF?

Yea that seems to be the case. The units are not available for all models yet. The piece I built is a hack job. Basically I got a spare pump, surgically removed the PC board, slightly modded it, and encased it in a weather proof box. Plug and play to the original multi connector. This was done a couple of years ago. Still does the job. I would recommend the BSD unit as the pump mod route is a bit tedious and if you screw up the disassembly (easy to do) its junk and you have to source the correct pump in the first place.

Trackmaniac, Currently there are no ABS kits for the bike that I know of. BSD just came out with one for the 2012-2014 1199. It looks quite "involved" I made a couple of these for the 99s. Simple single board design and it uses the standard ABS module plug. All functions are retained and work normally (DWC, DTC etc). Mick1976 has made one for his bike as well. V4, maybe. I have not torn into the logic/interface on that platform yet but it should be similar.

Thanks for the info ... I will wait for BSD
Also, do you know where I can find a EVAP fault plug ? I Removed the EVAP system and left the valve plugged but I'd like to remove It ...
Thanks

Ah yes, that one is a bit of a bitch. I have not seen one for sale. I want to say a 17ohm 15w resistor did the trick but it's been 3 years since I did that. If you have an ohm meter, measure the resistance at the valve then factor that there is a decent coil pack on that thing for the wattage rating. Otherwise you can hack the plastic housing down to a minimum, put some shrink wrap on it, Ty wrap it and be done with it. I believe the contacts are molded into the plastic housing so you would have to do some surgery if you wanted to completely eliminate the housing.
