Since warranty is over and due to time constraints it is a huge inconvenience for me to take her in for 7500 mile oil change So I decided to do it myself. After hearing about the Oil filter "cap" being a bitch I decided to loosen it first before draining the oil therefore if I can't remove it I...
Just had my oil and filter done, had the indicator wiring loom added under warranty and ECU updated, well the update has transformed the bike, smoother round town and feels far more responsive under hard throttle, 2nd gear up hill on the way home opened up as per usual and nearly flipped her...

How can I make my bike R version rearsets change to the GP style?
Going to track next week and don't wanna buy right now a new rearsets system.
If I change it to Gp how the quick shift will work?
Thank you!
found a vendor here close by [Fast Frank Racing], he offers various racing parts for all kinds of bikes, a lot for italian ones, all designed and fabricated by himself...
i find the quick change kits quite impressive:

When you change the oil and reset the service interval on the bike how many miles does it say between services. I just had my bike at fast by ferraci and I could swear it was the same number.
I'm talking about the green oil thing that comes up on the dash when its starting up usually says...

Has anyone with the S model removed their stock electronic Ohlins suspension, to swap out for non-electronic suspension? I'm curious what the computer does, or nothing at all?

What is the best option for the sprocket change?
Mimic the 1199R with the 41 in the rear? Some dealers have suggested that the front would be the way to go.
Please advise.
Thanks.
Hi all,
Like the tittle says, the time for a change is coming, there’s always a time when we have to stand up and say;
“I’m fed up with my life, it’s time for a change!!!”
Let’s make a long story short, I’ve been working on the IT industry for the past 16 years, I’ve gone through several...
First off I think it important to mention the amount of ''crap'' that was stuck on the magnetic drain plug = disgusting...
It took a few minutes to get it clean, not sure the dealer would have taken the trouble.
Now for the good news:)
I had done some research on this forum and...
Got the 41T rear sprocket for a 2012 Base Panigale. Noticed my speed is higher on the dash then actual. Is this normal, should ECU automatically compensate for 41T sprocket change?
Thanks
I missed a few shots of the oil change (the ones that would have required covering my phone with oily fingers) but this should be enough for anyone who's doing their oil change for the first time on the Panigale.
The drain bolt is along the centerline of the bike and can be accessed without...
Thinking about changing the oil myself. Have done this on jap bikes. Is it just taking fairings off then remove the bolt on the bottom (is this a tricky process?) then drain and add new oil and change oil filter.
Roughly a 1hr job?
Interested in hearing from people who have done it...
