Should a 2010 Multistrada 1200 be able to pull the front wheel in 2nd gear?

Just test drove a bike that I am considering buying. It is a 2010 Multistrada the Non S model. The bike seemed to run well. Although it did sound a bit odd compared to the V4's and the inline 4s that I am used to. The bike came right up in 1st gear. But I was a bit disappointed that it...

Engine wont start in gear after installing CRG levers

Hi Guys, Just installed CRG RC2 shorty levers on a 2015 1299s. The CRG's are missing the pin that presses the switch, since then cant fire up the engine in gear, only in N. Anything I missed ? cant believe all the Pani owners who swapped the levers deal with this issue...

Let me set the scene.....gearbox was operating normally, and then I had to remove the rear wheel. I placed it in first gear to remove the rear axle nut. Subsequently, I cannot get the gearbox to shift up/down, nor will the rear wheel move when the clutch is pulled..... Any ideas people????

    Gear Teach procedure

Hi Everyone, If you have ever wondered how to do the gear teach (for those who don't have a 1299) please see attached memo. Works a treat. Word of advice, when it says turn wheel, turn it hard so you hear the ECU acknowledge the position...trust me you'll know what I mean when you hear it.

Metal water pump gear and impeller blade

I've searched high and low for a source for these with no luck. I have access to a local aeronautical machinist who could replicate them in aluminum or steel, but before I go that route, does anyone know of a place where they can be purchased? This would be for a 2014 1199s. Thanks in advance.

    DQS - 6th gear

After the first 400 miles of use, I have noticed that the Quick Shifter does not work in six gear unless I roll off the throttle slightly. All other gears (including 6th down to 5th work) fine on down shift, as signified by the auto blip throttle. Just up shifting into 6th gear. Any ideas? I...

    Panigale gear change feel

Guys riding Panigale and S1000RR, a question, would you agree S1000RR gear change clearly more precise engaging than Panigale? My R gear change felt too soft to me, though functionally doing the job right. Changed stock rearsets to Gilles Tooling, slightly better, but not even close to Lightech...
