Does anyone know what the fourth wire on the o2 sensor is for? I am guessing that one is the signal to the ecu, one to ground and one to power the heating element, but I do not have any idea what the last one is for. Thanks in advance for any help on the topic

Hi Gents, I have my speed sensor fray do the use of tyre warmers. I've located the problem and temporarily repaired and rejoined the wires. Do you think it is safe to solder them together or should I replace the sensor line completely?
