    Loudifying stock exhausts

Is it possible to remove anything from the stock exhausts which will make the bike sound louder (and, preferably, better)? I ask because on my old KTM, the guys at the shop were able to remove the tiny restrictors at the ends of the silencers, using a hole saw, then change the needle position...

Convert stock exhaust to something louder?

When I owned a KTM Duke II, I was able to create an "aftermarket" exhaust situation by coring out (gosh that sounds painful) the stock exhausts, thereby enlarging the diameter of the exhausts, and also resetting the carburetor needle. I had a loud, stock-looking exhaust which was a fairly...

    Stock Seat make over

Ever since I installed the comfort seat, the stock seat was just sitting in my garage. I always thought the stock seat was a bit too simple, so I took it to the local leather guy. He had done some work for my friends' Ducatis here in Seoul. In any case, here is the picture of what it looks like...

In praise of the stock Ducati

There's a certain used motorcycle purchasing maxim which goes much like this: the more "modifications" the [used] bike has, the more one should stay away from purchasing it. With Ducatis of course, said maxim has traditionally been waived when applied to Termis and vented clutch covers...

What to do with stock seat?

Purchased the comfort seat so now I have the stock seat in my living room, anyone think about sending their seat to Sargent Cycle to have it done up? Maybe get it padded and covered, add a welt, italian flag, etc. Thoughts?

    Core stock exhaust?

A popular modification to the 848/1098/1198 was to core out the stock exhaust basically giving you the same setup as a slip-on exhaust......has anyone looked into doing this for the 1199, is it possible with the configuration it's in? Would love info on how to do this to the Panigale!

    Stock bike: jack point?

Hey, can any of you check your manuals to confirm it's on the exhaust cans? Want to be able to adjust the rear shock without damage. Would hate to go smashing in the mufflers with my scissor jack. Thanks in advance.

    Stick with stock exhaust?

Hearing reports of the stock exhaust being already quite grunty and loud I wonder if I'd be perfectly happy with stock and removing the exhaust valve, which I surprised no one has attempted yet. And gut the baffles. In their new location, under the belly, integrated and hard to see it...
