    Rear tire wear question

So I did a trackday at Lightnight on Monday and had a brand new Supercorsa SC2 on my 1199. The tire had never been used. By the end of the track day it looks like I won't be able to pass tech inspection for another day. The rear really got shredded! I guess I was just wondering if that was...

So did Ducati design this bike (1199/1299) to handle best with the 200 rear tire?

I'm just curious what the racers or track day guys have found here. Do you have a better foot print at full lean with the 200? Do you feel the 200 makes turn in more cumbersome? Is the 190 the preferred tire when using it for track?

Track-day Riders: Tire Warmers - What Rubber to use?

I ride my 1199 predominantly on the road; however, during 2014 I was fortunate to get to the local track (3 hrs away) for seven track-days. Seeing my enthusiasm for track-days and photos of my knee-down escapades, Santa brought me a set of Chicken-Hawk Tire warmers "out of concerns for my...

    OEM Tire wear analysis

So there are plenty of "How long will my tires last" threads, but I thought I'd add a little more detail than posted before. Just take it with a grain of salt as you may or may not ride like more of an ....... than me :D At 4100mi (all street) I'm on my third set of Pirellis and don't care...

    Tyre (Tire) predicament

Ok... I guess I should be prepared to get flamed here...but here goes...:) Living in Texas means that finding nice roads on which to ride means traversing some slab to get there..... now I don't currently have the luxury of a trailer... so a lot of miles on my tyres are of a "touring"...

New tire decals.. Vulcanized rubber decals

After alot of research, trial and error we have finally found a way to get decals to adhere to tires.. The material is AMAZING!! No real thickness.. Decals are thermall printed on to special material thats 8 microns thick. (this helps it contour around anything as seen in photos). I chose to...

    Nail in tire

So I got a nail in my tire tonight. Ducati roadside assistance worked out good. Tow truck got me in about 30 minutes. Anyways, I'm thinking patching it is a bad idea and I should get a new rear tire put on. Anyone have an idea how much this is going to cost me? Do I have to get a new front put...

    Tire wear?

I have just over 1200 miles on my bike since purchase in December. All of my rides with the exception of the ride from the dealer to home have been in the foothills and mountains where I live. My favorite rode that I visit often is mostly 2ed gear turns with some 3s and 1s. My chicken...

Quickly: what tire pressures do you use at 30' or less?

I'm getting a bit loose at 33-30. Would not lower pressures help heat the tires up quicker? Recommendations appreciated Thanks

Finally A New Rear Tire Other Than Supercorsa SP

I hope this isn't a repost. But I found the Michelin Power Supersport in 200/55-17. I bought a set for my S1000RR from this company last summer, so I know it's not a scam. These are the replacements for the Michelin Power One Commercial. I like them, and I like the price. By the way, I have no...
