Keep losing my bike

Haha you probably still smoke him when you’re on the little brother bike

wings look nice in the pictures. How do they look in person? I was thinking abt them for my 1299 but they’re not “period correct” so I didn’t want to be judged.

I thought his 959 was crazy fast before I bought the 1299, but it's not even close.

The wings from CNC Racing are fantastic. The fit and finish is excellent, like everything they produce, and they make a decent amount of downforce. You can absolutely feel that the bikes are more planted in the corners.

Good looking duo there.
I think these winglets look fantastic integrated into the headlights. It would be interesting to see how a similar style would turn out on the 99’s

Have u ever tried a tuned or flashed 1299? The flash on my 1299 made me say “I thought it was fast before” now it’s like unrestricted.

I have a few accessories from CNC Racing, all great quality. I love your wings. Could I put them on my 1299 after you introducing them to me in your original post and not be a copy cat?

I like those flat out modern looking wings maybe I can make a make some out of CF for the 1299. It needs some, the extra downforce really is next level
I like how the end of the V4 ones turn down like an upside down airplane wing

I can’t imagine flashing the 1299 for more power, I can barely hang on to her now.

Absolutely! I think every modern Panigale should have CF wings!

Thanks bud! Haha ok so flashing the bike (for me) isn’t about gaining extra power, it’s more of a smoothening out the engine so it pulls hard literally from 2,000 rpm all the way up without that pesky dead spot right in the middle of the rev range. Much quicker shifts on my 1299 and it doesn’t surge in power anymore and low throttle like trying to go around a traffic circle.
It was life changing for me and for the bike. Not trying to tell you to spend your $$ but if you feel like spoiling yourself there are some great options available

I’m just impressed to see father and son both on Ducs. I can’t get my dad to part from his Harley for even 1 ride. Next time he tries to take your bike, flip it to wet mode with all the rider aids set to high. Maybe you would smoke him with the 959 at that point???
Thanks for the vote of confidence to add sexy wings onto my 1299. We’re they easy to install?

Smoothing her out at lower speeds/RPM would make a great bike fantastic. I'll have to look into tuning a little more.

Haha, I'm going to have to try the wet-mode trick, see if he notices it on the display before we start riding.

The wing install isn't too bad. I had my Ducati mechanic do the first install on the 959. The only tricky bit is that on the brake side the front two screws and nuts have to be machined down about 2/3 of their original height because they rub the coolant tank that sits behind the faring. The wings are screwed and glued with RTV adhesive. The 1299 I did myself in about an hour. Ground down the screws/nuts with a dremmel tool. The wings come with guide stickers to get the alignment in the right place. They are kinda expensive but well worth the $$.

Hi, Kev. Did you think any more on making some cf wings with the turned down ends? Would be interested in some if you decide to fabricate yourself. I'm not really a fan of the Puig shapes. Let me know.
BTW, the remap rocks, as you suggested. Low speed much smoother. Open the taps and she flies.

me riding together with my dad only lasted for a short period but it was great memories. enjoy it while you can!!!

What happened? Nothing bad I hope.

if that's in reply to my post, nothing bad, no, i just had a really bad crash and he ended up selling his bike shortly after... i got a new bike a bit later, but he never got back to riding.
he enjoys the heck out of his electric bicycle now though.

I haven’t. Actually forgot all about it when I was reunited with my 1299. But I got stuck in a nasty front wheel wobble last night going over some ...... northeast road. time slowed like in the matrix, it was nuts. I kept steady on the throttle And saved it but now I’m thinking this bike needs wings!

Congrats on the flash. It is surprising!
