Palinal are a bespoke Italian paint supplier - obviously of the highest quality to be supplying paint for the world's highest quality super-bike. This is their website though suspect you would need to speak to them direct - how's your Italian?

Obviously importing paint from Italy creates all sorts of other problems....

Thanks very much for the advice on painting the bike a base white first and then the fluro Orange on top. Has turned out a treat on my Desmo[emoji4] ImageUploadedByTapatalk1420858850.421956.jpg

Anyone know why there is a reason why my photos are being uploaded in lo-res?

Aghhh. Why do all my photo uploads end up lo-res when I choose the highest resolution :-(

Sorry to bring up an old thread.. but has anyone successfully paint matched the 1199 Superleggera ? Trying to find the right paint code here in the USA

Yeah, I did. It's a real PITA. Palinal colours found on the forum here are right, but it's really very difficult because the orange paint cannot be applied opaque! One fine coat is not enough, two coats is too much and makes the colour too dark.
Also the white background colour has to be made a very little bit "dirty" by mixing a tiny amount of black to it.I guess thats one of the reasons why Ducati changed the colour for the 2017 SL :)

I would give it a try. I would have a paint store paint match the die cast paint. Take a small piece of sheet metal and give the sample a try. I'm chomping at the bit to do a custom paint scheme with the SL color!
