Are there any rumours or expectations about what they are going to announce? It seems like an extra event beyond the ones that had previously been advertised.

I didn’t mention money. I don’t see the point of a Ducati with ‘Bentley’ written on it. I’d guess that many of the buyers will be Bentley owners who don’t even ride a bike. I own a 911 but I wouldn’t want a Ducati with ‘Porsche’ on it. That would be equally silly.

I agree. I think they could do better just by offering more color options than tacky overy styled bikes with car brand logos on them.

Bentleys are nice cars, but if you cant afford a new one then they are probably not for you. Not a bad link up with the Diavel though, a fat middle aged man car and bike combo as opposed to a the Porsche and Panigale option for the younger chad without man ....s.

I've had a few fast cars. But at some point I just gave up on the cars because I'd always walk past them to the bikes. So I kept one car got rid of the rest so I could have more bike storage space. Ain't a money thing. Cars be boring. Them man ....s are called chichi's.

I’m doing bugger all miles in my car (probably around 2,000km over the last two years) and it’s currently in a storage place over winter so I have the garage space available for my bikes to do stuff on them over winter. I love the car but it’s not getting used much at all. I considered selling it but it’s not going down in value so I figured it’s probably worth keeping, but I’m certainly not as into cars since getting back into bikes and if I have time to go out for a blast it’s pretty much always on the bike.

The storage place is cool though and walking around there is like going to a car show. My car is certainly one of the cheapest cars in the place - lots of Phantoms (three parked in a row opposite me), two Competizione, etc, etc, along with some bikes. I’ve got the best number plate though.

The only four-wheeled vehicle that currently interests me is a van to take the bike to the track.

Exactly right appreciation makes you keep them. But after you haven't started a couple for a decade or so...

I actually thought about getting a Ford Transit just for that reason.

Same, although I was also looking at the Mercedes V Series or Vito - good for the dog and general use as well.

In the end I found an enclosed trailer to be the best solution. All your support stuff stays inside. Every time you go you no longer have to think about what to bring cause you already did that. None of that loading stuff up in the half light.

But if you can dedicate the van, perfect. Bolt a toolbox in with a working surface on top. Leave your stuff in it. Perfect.
