Dealer finally called . They said it was a software error that caused the radiator fan not to work and the bike went on limp mode . They ran many tests and said it perfect! They are sending the bike back Tuesday. Hope it’s good now
Unless they have data from sensors that show that the engine temp didn’t exceed the normal operating range, I’d demand an extended warranty for your inconvenience and peace of mind. Bike could’ve overheated and damaged the engine and you might not see the consequences until the distant future. Also, get the diagnosis and at least a statement saying that engine is not damaged from this error in writing. Ducati NA should put their money where their mouth is.
