If your bike is running legitimately hot at 80 MPH you're either in 2nd gear or something is wrong with it.
I'm in central Texas and at that speed in summer weather my bike sits in the 180s and for a Panigale that's not hot.

first ride yesterday
Houston hot summer , around 95 degrees outside
around 120 miles.
got back home , left and right tight had many burns all over !
a lot of heat coming from the front when i tight my leg to the fuel tank
on the highway i can't ride more the 10 minutes.
that's a huge issue.

I have ceramic coated my full Termi system (inside and out) and use the full DP Carbon Fibre heat shield for the under seat section of the manifold. I removed the inside steel liner and only use the cf section. Heat is no longer a problem...
