1199 smoked screen

Hey guys, does anybody know of a smoked/tinted screen available that is basically the same dimensions as the factory one? I don't like the 'taller' screen, would prefer to stick with the low rise. Help would be appreciated...

You don't like the taller screen? Why? And did I read correct you still don't have the bike yet? Look at Puig screens.

Hey Hamish I have organized a screen to go to these guys and they should have a dark tint or even custom if you want in about 3 weeks.
They will also do their own version of a the race screen that you might like.

No worries Gunny.....They have always made good screens and you can ask for the tint you would like.

Thanks guys, yep it would seem we are the last in the world to get ours and mine's only just leaving Sydney, so expect to get it in 2-3 weeks depending on customs... Anyway the 'tall screen' would probably be ideal given my height of 6" but I like the low flat look of the factory screen. I was toying with the idea of just having the original tinted but how does it last? Has anyone had success having theirs tinted and it not peeling off?

Will do....Mine is going to be pretty dark as it will be a custom, but you can download the 1198 pics from their site and there is a dark tint there if that is what you are after.

I am a bit on the fence about the taller screen as well after seeing them both on the bike, so I will wait to see what these guys do and I will try both on the bike, before I really make my decision.

Thanks @panigale1199 but I prefer the standard height screen.

@Wallaroo, the screen on the 1098 they have listed would be almost perfect, perhaps a little darker maybe... If you could post some pics of both fitted and let me know your thoughts that would be great

Had the tall dp windscreen installed today and it will get some getting used to. Def not a serious dark tint tho. Will post pics tomrw from laptop. Can't seem to do it off the damn cell phone.
