I would go with https://www.carbottcomposites.com/index.php?&p=5_19 for the tank cover.
They are a good crowd and nice to deal with.

My recent lowside was about 85 mph. Bar end, rearset, swing arm and alt cover protection took most of the track contact.
The majority of my damage came from the gravel trap where sliders made no difference.
It was like having the bike sand blasted on one side.

No never any grass. What crap tracks are you riding? ;) If we take my bike i will save clutch cover, swingarm & all fairing parts and take off load on the usual spots like bar end & rear set in this now so common "Zelnik lowside practise" for me. Of course all crashes is different but i clearly see the pattern, that slider takes the major impact & dragging. Clearly shown on the slider itself. I will see if i can upload some images later.
Yea, I would like to see the pics, luckily I slid mostly on track, 150 yards? Then ended up in dirt fkr anotger 100'. The armour boddies did well I think. Some small repairs needed. I will probsbly buy a new upper instead of repairing it. Idk, crashing is oart of this lovely sport. A high quality paint job is most likely gonna wait

@1299rFE
Hope you're on the mend real soon and up and riding Bogie again.
I'm just a rookie and not in your league.
Hit the grass in turn 14. Saved it but what a scare. Can't imagine what you just went through.
Hopefully we'll have a chance to meet.

14. the tight left?
Ya it was out of nowhere. I definitely didn't expect to have someone come in the inside on an apex there. Super high speed corner as you know.
I should here about the bikes suspension today, all depends on that and the gas tank.

I hope to be back early Sept for the 7th 8th 9th.
I am supposed to be at The Canadian Tire Motorsports Park on August 29th too.

WE should deff meet up at some tracks.

Maybe this wasn't his fault is why he didn't come to you in the pits, its not always someone else's fault you crash. Try signing up for a riding school to develop skills for being close to others on track and not panicking.

Keith, come on now...you were commenting how he was being a troll on your post (i was somewhat on your side, your money, spend it how you want it) then you come to his old post and you yourself are trolling to already a bad situation. Pretty low.

Well Keith the good news is I have been riding with the greatest track program the country has to offer, also the oldest. I have been riding with Penguin for 6 years now and am fully confident in riding side by side, and close to other riders. I appreciate your advice even though it is out of left field and stinks of sarcasm.
I want you to maybe go to the original post and read where it said there was nothing but grass to the right of me. So, the last time I remembered this is road racing not motocross. As a 2 time state champion motocross racer, I can assure you having someone close to me while on a bike is not something that is foreign to me. Good luck with your choice in suspension.
