Hooking it Up
Congrats to you all as this is an awesome machine. Are they "numbering" these at all like a special edition? Must admit it was cool having this on my 1198 Corse.
Just offering up my assistance to any / all of you when you decide to do any mods to it whatsoever. I do NOT work on commission at all so this is not a push for product purchases. If interested in anything to augment your special addition to the family, shoot me an email with your wish list gents. Just looking to help thats all. [email protected]

Got one and loving it! This is the baddest machine I have ever ridden. It makes my R1's feel like over-powered Cadillacs! Still babying it for break-in, but from what little seat time I have had the pleasure to experience....well let's just say I am looking forward to the end of the break-in period!

If you're 8 weeks out, you probably need to find another dealer. . . I don't believe the wait list is anywhere close to that long if you put your name down now.

That's my R that arrived 2 weeks ago.
DP License plate holder, DP carbon front sproket cover, DP Generator Cover, DP Race seat.
For those contemplating between the Factory R Seat (which has the special material) and the DP Race seat. Get the race seat, it's a lot grippier and it holds you in place a lot better. It forces you up, back and keeps you there. Ride confort is also good if you ask me.
I love this bike.

A couple of questions I have about the Race Screen:
Has anyone experienced the melting of the LCD screen as a result of the DP Race screen?
Are there any people in here who have installed the race screen with the mirrors on? If you could please post some pictures it would be much appreciated.
My dealer said that there was a warranty claim that was denied due to the race screen projecting the rays of sunlight in a manner which started to melt the LCD display.
Any info. in regards to this matter would be truly appreciated.
