Go for the R. I love the tank and understated bad-assness of this bike. By the way.Was your insurance full replacement value of the totalled bike? Im getting bad ideas of mine going off a cliff.:eek:

Shame on Ducati for not fitting the DP parts on the assembly line!
 
Full replacement value and because I had all new DP parts on the bike my dealer gave me a very good discount on the R. An R for a Tricolore price.

Ducati can't deliver the bikes with the full Termis as they are not complying to the rules of emissions when they do that. That was what I was told. I think I will sell the stock exhaust to my dealer. Does anyone know what the price in Euro is for the stock system?
 
And for the US. I always tell the guys and gals over there that you get different engines. It is really true. When I was in the factory last year I could see crates with US engines because you have stricter emissions rules. 10 horsepower less. :) Lol.

Its just BS, coz we all know that even the stock exhaust hardly passes noise emissions.

Wonder what their excuse for the screen is ;)

Totally agree with you X.

Why would a dealer buy a stock exhaust system for a 1199 ? Especially in the context of deal which is a trade in ? Why would a dealer even discount an R ?
