I'm looking to get my 1299s exhaust done, do you still do that? Any information or help would be appreciated.

Got my 1299 Exhaust cored out after melting the internals....fun times.
Bike is getting tuned in 2 weeks, can't wait.
Absolutely not one sign of visible heat damage on the outside....amazing stuff that Akra Titanium.

Guys, sorry to dig up this old thread but Is it possible/easy to make the baffle / dB killer removable and not make the exhaust any louder after cored?

reason is stock 1299 is on the noise limit for most UK track days and often need concession to go on the day. I cant really afford making it any louder.

thanks
Eric

Unless you get a bracket made that goes in place where the current one sits... it’s welded in twice, inside and outside

Thanks Phil. How about if I just take the catalytic converter out and leave everything in tact, will this achieve airflow improvement while keeping the noise level as before?

yes, that will definitely help the exhaust gases not having to pass the little tubes in the cat, which are also a great heat retention element.
