The FE appears to not be a limited edition. Look closely at the number engraved on the triples. It's not listed as a fraction like 37/500.
 
HA! I saw one of these on the factory tour this tuesday! :D I was wondering what the thing with the undertail exhaust but standard subframe was! :D
 
Manual ohlins! I didn't see that coming.
Put a set of nice wheels on it, an underslung exhaust and good to go.

Not as if I haven't done it before.

i can't say i'm a fan of the styling but if it's a 1299SL motor it's pretty sweet.
 
....R livery for the street is always great....colors are a personal choice conundrum - if you buy it, you'll love it
 
Definite YES for technics. But coloring and exhaust are fake in that bike. Underbelly cans, and yet another underseat cans. Not for me.
 
Dang, kinda of a eye sore with those red wheels. Not a fan of the exhaust mounting either.
 
Well that was a short run, 2012 to 17, maybe they can put a dry clutch on the 1299 put it in a trellis frame, with the 900ssbevel upswept exhaust, and sell them faster than they can make them

I would rather look at Oprah in a thong than that exhaust. Wheels? cause they have a bunch of inventory they can't sell so the "Ducati way" is to throw some gimmick on it and sell it to guys who want people to know their bike is "special". Special, says so right there on that thingy on top of the doodad holding the kaflingus and your bike isn't so nanny nanny boo boo.
 
If it doesn't already exist, there will be a cat delete to remove that eyesore around the belly. It looks very similar to the underbelly cats on the 2017 BMW S1000RR and the Akrapovic is the same except it is mounted under the seat as opposed to a singular right side can at the link.
