A few times today my Panigale stalled when trying to get out of first at a light. Has this happened to other people? Or is it just me not giving it enough gas?

I personally think the RBW or the fuelling stumbles from closed throttle to just open... At least that's how it feels with mine. It's gotten better, and I'm sure it wouldn't be an issue if you wanted to launch, but those easy roll-offs from a light that just turned green can be a bitch.

Happened to me too ;-). This aint a 4-in-line engin... ! You have to put on a little more gas, that's all.

Which mode are you in? I've noticed my 1199 does that when I don't give it enough gas in Sport and Wet modes.

You will find that it gets better with a couple of things.. You will get a better feel for the throttle and also the clutch "beds in" and becomes more consistent.

No worries, in a few more miles, you won't remember that this was an annoyance.

Cheers.

I will confirm that my stalling issue has gone away, as said, but I still think that extremely small spot between closed and a couple of percent likes to stumble.

I was in Race mode when it happened to me. I like the feel of race mode better. I only ride in sport or wet when in traffic. Haven't rode it in the rain (don't "plan" on it either)

stalled embarrassingly the first few days I had my bike. Certainly not my first Ducati but it is my first Ducati with a 100% RBW throttle. Just had to adjust to it; every Ducati I've ever owned required me to adapt to it in one way or another. It's part of the Ducatisti Experience ;)

Mine does it too, once in a while. It has something to do with the intermittent electrical issues many seem to report.(including imine)
Mine stalls de accelerating coming up to a stop light etc. It was doing it often at first but seems to be farther between since I have about 18-00 miles on it.

Evidently this is a problem that those of us that are experiencing stalling issues will just have to put up with since Ducati will not even acknowledge there is a problem.

No codes are thrown it just dies.. My dealer tried different tuning and throttle body adjustments etc.. to no avail. It is just a quirk that seems to get better with more miles on it..

Speedy :(

Mine did it too and occasionally just cut out whilst decelerating with a closed throttle. However, I've clocked up just over 1000 miles and it hasn't done it for a while - matches what others say about them getting better with a few miles on them.

I never experienced stalling when pulling away.

But i have experienced what BRT has, coming to a stop with a closed throttle, and the bike just switched off.

But i'm going to ride it a bit more to see if it will get better! Hopefully!
