here termi vs akra

Tubes are bigger then termis,no inserts an end pipes holes are huge.Sound graph is wrong they didnt get homologation for 6 months allways too loud.

Now they put inserts so homologation in germany would pass, but when you buy it it comes straight tubes nothin inside completely nothin!!!

We raced open akra and open termi on the road, sound from akra was so much louder it was funny

That dip in the rpms between 6k-8k with the Termi's is insane. How could this be such a big difference between the two systems? Did Termi not do enough R&D with their system before hand? Were they pressed for time by Ducati's release date on the Pani's, so much so that they couldn't figure out a way to fix that huge dip? Akra obviously has helped better that dip. Maybe because they took foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr to release their product and had plenty of time to do the necessary R&D and learned from Termi's mistakes. I'm no exhaust system expert so I'm sure there's more to it than my assumptions.

Anywho, just another reason +1 for Akra!

MotoMummy still has these for sale at sub $3500 even though they don't have any for sale yet.

Well to be honest why is it taking so long is because it took ages to make the tool to make the headers with machine, that is the thing that took most time.

That is why they make 20 per week now mine was hand made and it looks perfect.
It took some time to test and all,and akra with this exhaust was prestige just to make it,they did not earn millions with it and they said most complicated product ever they made most effort put into.
Other time wasters were in germany homologation for being too loud ten times etc.....And when you buy it you get it as loud as it gets without any inserts cause akra know everyone will remove all to sound louder.Every thing was done long time ago but hand makin headers and homologation took time.Tubes are huge and empty imagine the power air fuel flow inside must be insane

Congrats

Both amazing bikes, and you have tasteful mods ... MRA looks great.. I thought MRA made a "racing" screen similar to the DP " R" screen in height? This one looks like OEM 1199 height...

Nice bikes Ronin but obviously this dyno chart doesn't reflect the latest upmap for the Termi since it was done back in September 2012.

Two very nice bikes Ronin. Well done! If I didn't already have the Termi set up on my bike I probably would have the Akra as well. I really like the gold wheels on the 1199R. Looks great.
