i think - 90% sure - that the akra on the R will be the akra you can buy everywhere , but now of course coming with Ducati mapping.

this pipe - again almost sure - is the pipe they first made in 2012 , announced in 2013 and started shipping late last year and fully iun 2014... that pipe showed good gains over the very first Termi line.

in the termi line later came the +160 mm SSTK DP pipe ( small lambda and allowed on the R, not Base or S) the real + 160 MM SSTK Corse pipe with the large lambda's.

then came the +300 mm SBK pipe from Corse which set the standard as the best pipe out there. Then came a dozen or so small updates, mainly to accomodate the Factory tank/seat setup and small developments to make gains over 12.5K revs...

as Akra got the Factory contract to supply Corse, the came up with a pipe that is generally accepted to be a copy of the latest Termi pipe... it is rumored that only a couple of teams will get the akra as support and that others wanting them will have to rob 2 banks to pay for them.

it is also likely that Termi will get a restraining order no longer to make the ever more popular +300mm pipe. these could therefore become a rarity...

i am happy i got one from november 14...

now, this of course can change overnight...

just got back from Aragon and Valencia... wish i had ridden them in different order...
this winter the bike got quit a different setup to adress the main problem being running wide on the throttle.... we switched to the 24° steering angle the new 15R is getting including the 5 mm offset to lengthen the wheel base... alse put the bike more backwards for it to stiffen up the rear as aparantly the linkage system tightens up in that case... i must say that now the bike handles ever so sweetly with a great combo of flickability and stability...

as i won't be able to ride it in Belgium, took the DR16 for some laps at Aragon

Aragon put me up there with het boys and Valencia was even better with a 2 seconds improvement of my PB from last year with a decent 1:50.30

Do you just mount in front of the gas tank lid with the go-pro sticky mount? If so, does that do anything to the paint? I like that view how you can see the hands, the speed, etc.

Indeed that can be done without hassle. I now have it. Mounted on triples but i lose the hands then.. On tank can get broken when laying down .. [emoji4]

small update :

installed a Sprint filter and some Factory inlets ... + a new short throttle that got damaged.....

she shoud be neear or just over 200 bhp now.... and with that short throttle and a better setup should be very close to her max development... all within reasonable maintenance schedule...

hope to be riding her soon.... worked my self into a shotload of work.... grrrrr....
