Spotted at my dealer Saturday, my rear shock replaced under warranty. This 848 is really beautiful, and insane amount of options for only $1K more than the base.

Is it me, or do the exhausts really seem to protrude from under the tail.

Amazing how you get used to cleaner lines I guess.

Know what you mean, but up close they are beautifully done OEM. Perfect stainless with the faintest "Ducati" engraved on them.

Beautiful bike. One of the technical big dogs was at my dealer over the weekend. I asked if the 848 would follow in the 1198 foot steps with it's transformation. He said they were working on it, but they were having a hard time making it work in the smaller bike.

I'd love to see an 849 frameless design. Track bike bliss.

good observation! it's almost 2" longer for the US spec'ed 848 evo, they have to do it so the bike pass emission. i know this first hand when i was shopping for one back in 2011

rumor has it that babi Pani might be 799, but afterall they are what they are: rumors!

The finish on them is much nicer then our Pani's. The 1199's stock covers almost look handmade in highschool shop class.
